Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
OutreachPlus improves access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services by drilling and rehabilitating boreholes with solar-powered pumping systems, constructing elevated water tanks, water kiosks, and animal troughs, and promoting hygiene awareness and sanitation infrastructure in schools and communities.
Health and Nutrition
OutreachPlus reduces morbidity and mortality rates by providing maternal and child healthcare services, treating and managing malnutrition among children and vulnerable groups, and conducting public health campaigns to combat epidemic diseases and malnutrition.
Education
OutreachPlus ensures access to quality education for vulnerable and out-of-school children by constructing and rehabilitating classrooms and Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS), supporting teacher development and community education committees (CECs), and promoting inclusivity through child-friendly and disability-accessible facilities.

OutreachPlus protects vulnerable populations, including women, children, and people with disabilities, by providing psychosocial support, case management, and referrals. The organization trains caregivers and child welfare committees on protection practices and advocates for gender equality and the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV).
Governance, Development, and Peacebuilding
OutreachPlus fosters peace and governance by participating in local forums and reconciliation conferences, empowering youth through skills development and leadership training, and advocating for inclusive governance and sustainable development.
Fishery Sector
OutreachPlus is dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods of inland communities by providing essential fishing inputs, including boats, fishing nets, and gears. Our efforts extend beyond material support, as we conduct capacity-building training on fish catch techniques, handling, storage, and preparation to ensure sustainable fishing practices and improved income for the communities we serve.
Livestock Sector
Somali communities are traditionally nomadic, with the majority relying on livestock as a primary source of livelihood. However, prolonged droughts have led to the depletion of pasture, widespread loss of livestock due to starvation and disease, and significant disruptions to their way of life OutreachPlus is committed to restoring the livelihoods of these communities by providing livestock restocking programs and veterinary care to improve animal health and survival rates.
Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR):
OutreachPlus actively works to reduce the vulnerability of communities to natural and man-made disasters by implementing comprehensive disaster risk reduction strategies. These include community-based risk assessments, early warning systems, capacity-building programs, and the promotion of sustainable practices that enhance resilience.
